MMR Sports complex with Dr. MMR College of Physical Education near Hyderabad offers 36 plus acres of recreational space for Indian Youth. It is located off of 4-lane highway (NH 9) which makes it easily accessible to the new Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and Hyderabad. It is only 15 minutes from the outer ring road, and within 45 minutes from the Airport. Land is dotted with small hills. The Main building rests on top of a hill and provides a panoramic and commanding view of the grounds and the multipurpose arena. Seating capacity in the outdoor gallery overlooking the arena exceeds 2000.
Dr. MMR, being a sports enthusiast, envisioned a masterplan to accommodate all the required facilities such as Outdoor and Indoor Track and Fields, Indoor Arena, Various Ball Courts, Swimming Pool, Beach Volley Ball, Archery and much more without wasting an inch of the precious space.
For a sports person, to get an adrenaline rush –the right ambience, appreciative audience and a well-designed space is essential. Here at the MMR Sports Complex, we guarantee that you will fall in love once you step in. It will take your breath away.
Main Building
Administration Building
MAIN BUILDING (Drona Block): 20,000 square feet of space offering Dining and Kitchen areas, Library, Indoor Recreational space and living quarters and so on.
ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING (Arjuna Block): This building is also known as Bokka Satyanarayana Reddy Block in memory of Dr. MMR’s late father-in-law who was the inspiration for the project. This building has 10,000 square feet space with multiple class rooms, conference room and office space for the Staff.
Women's HOSTEL (Rani Rudramma Block): 6500 square feet of comfortable and safe living space.
